Shown above are the final designs for the Legends of Kalidasia: Rise of the Surakari Warship line. From left to right the figures are:
1) Surakari Frigate Prime
2) Surakari Destroyer
3) Surakari Battle Cruiser
4) Heragul Battle Cruiser
5) Heragul Destroyer Prime
6) Heragul Frigate Prime
The Heragul Seeking Missile Destroyer weapons will come with the Heragul Destroyer, so either configuration can be built from one box. As for the Surakari Plasma Missile Boat, I will be releasing a video shortly after the figures have been released showing how to mod the prime model. At this time, pricing information and a release date are not available, but the figures have been delivered to the manufacturer. In order to keep up with the latest new, subscribe to our newsletter. Legends of Kalidasia is the first game that I’ve taken from design to production, so it’s bound to be a learning experience for me. Since the game was released two months ago, I’ve received a decent amount of feedback from the various players. In general, the feed back was positive, but I could certainly improve the game. The main issue was that battles seemed to take to long. Since I’m trying to create a fast and simple game, I set out testing a half dozen changes to speed the game up and make battles more violent. The few changes that made it through play testing have been compiled into Rise of the Surakari Version 1.1. The changes do not significantly alter the rulebook, but they do improve game play. I really enjoy the new version of the game much more then the previous version, so hopefully, I won’t be making any more changes for a long time.

Anyone who purchases Rise of the Surakari in either digital or print from this point on will receive the upgraded rulebook. Customers who have already purchased a print version, can find the changes in the following document:

Also, they may use the download code found in the back of the Rise of the Surakari Rule Book to obtain a digital copy of the new rulebook.
All free documents have also been updated with the new rules.

A week ahead of schedule, The Surakari and Heragul Fleet Packs have been released. Retailing for $5 each, the fleet packs give players additional Warship Stat Cards, Tokens, and Crew/Upgrade Cards. Additionally, each pack contains a new class of warship and a new type of upgrade card. The fleet packs are a great companion to the digital version of Rise of the Surakari. Details about the contents of these packs can be found on our products page.
