Kalidasia Media Productions will be attending U-Con 2010 on the campus of the University of Michigan. I’ll have a vendor table setup to sell a variety of Legends of Kalidasia merchandise. More information about my participation in the event can be found on the Events Page.

When it comes to tabletop games, people like figures. It was not surprising then for several people to ask me if Legends of Kalidasia has a miniature range associated with it. Hopefully, not too far in the future, I can answer yes to that question. The figures shown to the left are the first batch of prototype figures I have created. These figures were made with an on-demand 3D printing service and if I wanted to, I could sell them directly. Unfortunately, the price for these figures would be relatively high, so I’m investigating other options at the moment. While I have no release date set yet, my goal is to have the warships and fighters from Rise of the Surakari available by the end of the year.

One of my goals for Legends of Kalidasia is to create a large and in-depth original universe for the game. One way to accomplish this goal is to include background fiction with every game product. The other way is to create plenty of web-exclusive content.
Tales of Kalidasia will be the location where fans can find this web exclusive content. Initially, this page will feature short stories from the Kalidasia universe and over time it will also feature community sites built around the game.
The first series, The Flight of the Tyronar One, follows the story of Captain Tur-Si-Lok and his battle cruiser, The Tyronar One, as he leads the remainder of Tyronna Four defenders on a fighting retreat from the Surakari Invaders.

Beyond Kalidasia has been accepted into the iTunes podcast listing. The show can be found here:

Beyond Kalidasia is the official Internet television show of Legends of Kalidasia. Produced and hosted by the game’s creator, Jason Rutherford, Beyond Kalidasia will cover a single topic on each short episode.
On the first episode, I give an overview of Legends of Kalidasia and then dive into the first product: Rise of the Surakari.
